Former Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has asked for a $5m (1.2billion Naira) compensation from the Nigeria Football Federation over his sack earlier this month.
The 53-year-old was sacked by the NFF who claimed he put in an application to coach Ivory Coast contrary to the spirit of his contract.
Keshi, who was in his third spell in charge of the team that he led to win the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, has written though his lawyers for compensation.
He was sacked a few weeks after leading the Super Eagles to a 2-0 victory over Chad as they opened their Afcon 2017 qualifying campaign in Kaduna.
He has since been replaced by former team mate Sunday Oliseh.
